We exist to bring the love and hope of Jesus to our city. More than church attendance, our goal is to be a group of people living out the Good News of Jesus dedicated to three goals: be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus does. As we do, it is our hope that our lives, our homes and our neighborhoods would experience a taste of heaven on earth.

Gospel-centered
Everything we do and teach centers on the cross. God pursued us, providing a way to live with Him. Jesus, God in flesh, canceled our debt on the cross so that we might experience life with Him now and forever. He did this not to make us better people, but to give us new life.
Mission-driven
We have been placed in our church and community for the sake of others. Everything we do is designed to strengthen families, grow together in Christ-likeness, bring healing to the hurting, reach out to those far from God, and bless out community.
Biblically-based
We believe scripture to be a God imspired text. As a faith community, we base our teachings on scripture to help us understand the human condition, share God's relentelss pursuit of humanity and ultimately Jesus as the hingepoint of human history.
Grace & truth
In a world filled with challenges, we embrace grace and truth as essential pillars of our faith. Just as God meets us in our struggles, we extend the same compassion and authenticity to one another in today's culture while maintaining a dedication to Biblical truth.

Your giving makes a weekly impact. Your serving and giving helps release resources and unlocks opportunities for our growing number of ministries at MVC. Because of your partnership, we're able to help families in their times of trouble, provide hospitality, safe spaces, engaging ministries and gatherings that are making a difference.
Raising up a generation
Your giving is raising up a generation. Our children and family ministries continue to grow each month with new faces and new opportunities to invest in the next generation. Our aim is to empower families to live Jesus-centered lives "one life, One God, one step at a time."
Student impact
Your giving is reaching our schools. The efforts of our student ministries reach, bless and challenge literally hundreds of students year after year with the hope of Jesus. From outreach to life-on-life mentoring, we are seeing a young generation take their place in God's story.
Building for the future
Your giving is building for the future. With the addition of a new ministry building in our community, our "Build for the Future" campaign is growing and developing new ways to use our new ministry center to bless our community. This expansion will take time to build and we are excited to see the impact it will make.
Global outreach
Your giving is reaching our city and our world. Our MVC family partners with local and global organizations to bring the hope of Jesus around the world. Our local initiatives include pregnancy support centers, urban youth centers and more. Our Global partners are training pastors, planting churches, reaching youth and supporting Gospel ministries in hard-to-reach places.

Nearly 80 years in the southwest suburbs
It all started in a living room, a small group of people and a big dream: To bring the hope and grace of Jesus to our community. Since then, Moraine Valley Church has continued to grow by God's grace through dedicated leadership and real people committed to real faith in Jesus.
Moraine has been blessed by having long lasting, healthy leadership committed to coaching, teaching and building up the body to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. We have big dreams for the next 80 years to come as we learn what it means to be a faith family that spends time with Jesus, becomes like Jesus, and does what Jesus would do in every corner of our life and community.
