Group life is for FamiliesAll GenerationsNewly MarriedYoung Adults

Small groups are the perfect place to grow with others as disciples of Jesus Christ. Our desire is for the people of MVC to deeply connect with God and with one another through our small group ministry.

we are

Together Strong

Life is not meant to be done alone. Every person is valuable in God’s family. MVC Group Life provides opportunities to connect with that family and grow in our faith. It’s not just focused on Bible study, but also on learning to hear God’s voice in our own lives and discern what Jesus is leading us to do. We do that together in a safe environment, so that we can encourage and support one another in taking steps to obey Jesus and walk with Him more and more each day.

Intentionally small + informal

We want to experience life together in an authentic and non-threatening way. Our small groups are kept low in number to help nurture our “life on life discipleship”.

Small Groups

MVC Small Groups are for every walk of life. We have a deep desire to help Believers connect with other Believers and grow closer to our Lord and King.

Welcome to Sisters’ Connection where it is our desire for every woman to experience: BELONGING…To know and be known as you develop relationships with other women. BECOMING…Fully growing to be the woman God has personally designed you to be. BLESSING…Other women will be significantly impacted by your personal touch. You’re invited to join in the connection and explore the truth of the Word of God and the joy of relationships. Together we will expect God to practically reveal His presence in our everyday lives.
Tuesday Morning Coffee Break

9:30 -11:30am

Coffee Break is a weekly discipleship ministry where women gather to worship the Lord in singing as well as studying the Bible to know God. Lastly, we are strengthened each week through building relationships with one another.

Starting this new year, we are thrilled to learn what God says about Himself, His ways and His concern for our own personal lives through various women teaching the Bible. In addition, we will be looking closely at the book of Daniel, which exclaims that God rules in the affairs of all of the earth, therefore we can rest in His presence during these seemingly hopeless and troubled times.

Wednesday Evening Women’s Bible Study God of Freedom

A Study of Exodus 19-40

Start Date: January 19; 7:00 pm, Room

Bible Teacher: Jen Wilkin

The Ministry of Sisters’ Connection is committed to studying the truth of the Scriptures in order for you to know the God of the Bible and live in ways honoring to Him.

“Every book of the Bible tells us what is true about God. In Genesis we see Him as Creator and Covenant Maker. In Exodus we see Him as our strong Deliverer who sets us free from sin and death.

In this 10-session study of Exodus 19–40, journey through the story of how God shepherds His newly-liberated children into an understanding of what their freedom means: lives consecrated for service to God and to one another. Revisit familiar scenes of the giving of the Ten Commandments, the idolatrous worship of a golden calf, and of the intricate details of the tabernacle. And with fresh perspective, ask what these stories teach God’s children today about how to live as those set free.

In every page of the Bible, learn to see Christ through the stories of His people. And discover how the God who created you and made a covenant with you will deliver you from death to life, for His name and renown”. Teacher –Jen Wilkin

Excited to study with you,

Ava

Thursdays at 9am
This year we will be studying James.  Come learn about having a faith that is real!
What is true faith? How should you live the christian life?  Each verse of this practical study is alive with instruction, admonition, and encouragement.  Learn God’s principals for dealing with trial, temptations, the tongue, and the pull of the world.  As we study and encourage each other through sharing, prayer, and application of God’s word, we come to live out our true faith together that God intended us to receive.

Young Adults

The Young Adults group exists to build community, live out our mission to make disciples who make disciples, and empower each other to use the gifts that God has blessed us with! We have a deep passion for being in God’s word and showing each other what it looks like to follow Jesus! We believe that a Christ-centered community is where we are going to best grow and help each other further step into our purpose for Jesus!

The Young Adult group meets for service projects, discipleship groups, hangouts, large group events, and more! We gather on every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. To get plugged in contact Mat Drozd at mat.drozd@mvcstaff.email. We can’t wait to see you there!

MEN's Group Life

“Transforming Men to Impact their world for Christ”We believe that a life of treasuring Jesus starts with a life that has been transformed. Join with us in opportunities to engage in this process and live lives that reflect it.

The turning point of our lives is when we stop seeking the God we want, and start seeking the God who is. Imagine the doctor just told you, “I’m sorry, but you only have five weeks to live.” What would be important to you? What would you want to do, and with whom?

Pat Morley from “Man in The Mirror” will start delving into the five most important realms of a man’s life. He will start off by telling you the greatest lesson he’s ever learned. Then we’ll talk about your life and legacy–whether 5 more weeks or 50 more years–can be filled with love, peace, joy, significance, purpose, beauty, worship, awe, great relationships, and leaving the world a better place. Below are the five topics we will discuss.

1. Finding a Deeper Personal Relationship With God

2. Finding a New Best Friend in your Wife

3. Finding Respect and Honor at Home

4. Fulfilling God’s Plan for Your Life

5. Do Something Great with Your Life

So join us every other Saturday, starting Oct 24th at 8:00am in rooms 101/102 for food, fellowship and  breakout sessions  on “5 Weeks to Live”. We will have breakfast sandwiches and coffee. (freewill offering).

Join our MVC Men’s Facebook Group.

If you haven‘t already, be sure to jump on Facebook and join our MVC Men’s FB Group (click link below). This is a private group for men only and overseen by our Ministry to Men leader, John Brody. We want to help grow and train men in Christ. This is a space to share, encourage and lift up one another.

Authentic Community

We are together strong. Discipleship is practiced in the context of community. We desire to see every person connected to a smaller group to contribute to and grow in. Please fill in the this “Get Connected!” form to get more information. Once you fill out the form we will send you more information & someone from our MVC Team will reach out to follow up with you.
