Frequently Asked Questions

We have moved to a “MASK-OPTIONAL” service. You will have the freedom to continue wearing masks if you so desire, but if you wish to go mask free, you can.  In order to accommodate those who will continue to wear a mask, we will have the back half of the main floor clearly separated from the front section and identified, and we will also have ROOM 101-102 reserved for those who only want to be in a masked environment. These 2 areas will be “MASK REQUIRED” areas so if you prefer to wear a mask and also have those around you to be masked – please make use of these 2 areas.

When entering and leaving the building we simply ask that as you transition into and out of the service please be considerate of those around you.

Finally, we want to offer a friendly reminder that medical information is a private issue.  We simply want to encourage you to refrain from asking people if they have been vaccinated.

Masks are optional for both children and adult leaders.
Please continue to observe our well policy
If you are planning on having your children in class you are committing to the following:
*taking your child’s temperature Sunday morning and if they have a fever you will not come
*as a parent or guardian you will wear a mask over your mouth and nose when you are in the MVKiDS reception area or Children’s Wing for drop off or pick up
*contacting Kara Joyce at kara.joyce@mvcstaff.email if you or anyone in your immediate household tests positive for covid after your children were in any of our classes. You and your family’s privacy will be protected.
Not attending if:
*anyone in your household has tested positive for covid in the last ten days
*anyone in your household has been in close contact with someone who has covid in the last 10 days
*anyone in your household has covid symptoms or is sick

Due to safety restrictions and class size, parents will need to pre-register their children each week. If classes are full when you pre-register we will notify you as soon as possible. Our pre-registration link can be found below and will be open each week on Wednesday. Our leaders are excited to minister to your families in person!

Please contact Kara Joyce Director of Children’s Ministries with any questions or concerns at kara.joyce@mvcstaff.email.

You will see a generosity collection box throughout the Worship Center if you choose to bring your offering with you. You can also participate in our giving time
by visiting our website at morainevalleychurch.org and selecting the “giving” tab. We offer text to give as well. You can text “GIVE”   to 708-360-6610. If this is your first time texting to give, you will be asked to quickly complete a one time set-up form. You can also mail your check to:
